Cancellation and Refund Policy

Last updated: 17 October 2026

On For Holidays, each operator sets the cancellation and refund policy for its activities, and it is shown before you pay. This page explains the general platform rules that apply in all cases.

1. Which policy applies to your booking

Each activity's cancellation policy appears on the booking page before payment. By booking you accept the policy shown. If the operator has not set one, the default policy applies: free cancellation up to 48 hours before the activity starts (100% refund, booking fee included); after that there is no refund. Operators may choose another policy (for example 24 hours, or 3 or 7 days with a 50% partial refund in the intermediate window, or non-refundable).

2. If the operator cancels

If the operator cancels the activity (because of weather, safety, minimum group size not met, inability to deliver or any other cause on its side) you may choose between:

  • a full refund of what you paid, including the booking fee; or
  • rescheduling to another available date, if the operator offers it and you accept.

3. If you cancel

You can cancel with the personal link in your confirmation email, or by writing to hola@forholidays.app or to the operator, quoting your booking code. The refund is calculated under the activity's policy at the time you cancel: within the free window 100% of what you paid is refunded, including For Holidays' booking fee (6%, minimum EUR 2.50); in the partial-refund window, where the policy has one, that percentage of the activity price is refunded and the booking fee is not returned; outside those windows there is no refund. Once the activity has started it can no longer be cancelled.

Right of withdrawal: leisure activities with a specific date or period of performance are excluded from the 14-day right of withdrawal (art. 103(l) of the Spanish consolidated Consumer Protection Act). A refund is available only under the activity's policy or at the operator's discretion.

4. How and when refunds are paid

Refunds are made to the payment method used for the booking. Once approved, we start the refund without undue delay and in any case within 14 days. How long it takes to show in your account depends on your bank or card issuer (usually 5 to 10 working days).

5. Changing the date

Changes of date or participants depend on availability and the operator's policy. Contact the operator or us to request them.

6. Bookings not honoured or with problems

If the operator does not show up or the activity is not delivered substantially as described, contact us at hola@forholidays.app within 14 days of the activity date. We will review the case with the operator and arrange the appropriate refund.

7. Disputes with your bank

Before opening a payment dispute with your bank, please contact us: we can usually resolve it sooner. Your consumer rights are not affected.

8. Your statutory rights

This policy does not limit the rights the law gives consumers, including the legal guarantee and the operator's liability for non-conformity of the service.
