How the 6% works
When a customer books and pays, checkout shows your activity's price plus a "Booking fee" of 6%, shown transparently — not a silent cut from what you invoice, nor a charge that shows up later. You get the full price you set for your activity; the platform is funded by that fee, paid by whoever books. On very low-priced bookings a €2.50 minimum applies instead of the exact 6%, to cover the cost of processing the payment itself.
Why no fixed fee
Many booking platforms charge a fixed monthly fee whether you sell or not. That works if you already have steady volume, but it penalizes exactly the businesses that need it most: a seasonal activity that only runs a few weeks a year, or a business that wants to try online booking before committing. With a purely variable model, the cost moves up and down with what you actually sell — never the other way around.
