You can turn off that specific tour from your dashboard as soon as you see the forecast, and it stops taking new bookings for that time slot right away. Bookings already confirmed are still yours to handle directly with the customer — a refund or moving them to the next tour with space — same as you would today by phone, but without the risk of still adding people to a tour you already know won't go out.

Does capacity match the kayaks I actually have set up, not just a rough number?

Yes. You set the maximum capacity for each tour based on the kayaks and guides you actually have available that day, and the system stops taking bookings once it's full — no need to cross things off by hand in a notebook to track how many double kayaks are left.

Does it distinguish between single and double kayaks when counting spots?

Accepted Answer

You can publish the single-kayak tour and the double-kayak tour as two separate activities, each with its own price and its own capacity count — so a booking for two people in a double kayak doesn't throw off your count of single kayaks left.

Does it work for both short cave tours and half-day river trips?

Yes. The short cave tour, the sunset paddle and the half-day river trip get published as separate activities, each with its own calendar, schedule and capacity — a booking on one never takes a spot from another.
